Every Wednesday, 12.30pm
Home-Workers Wednesday Soup
Kitchen
Village Store and Cafe |
The
Village Store and Café are offering villagers that
work from home a ‘Home-Workers Wednesday Soup kitchen’ with
soup, a roll and a free drink. This
is aimed at people who normally work from home who just want
to break up the day with a bit of a walk, lunch and a chat,
and hopefully half an hour away from the mobile phone. Fear
not, this is certainly not designed to be a high powered
business networking lunch!
The idea has
been kicked off by Middleton’s Rob Cross who says that, since
he started working from home, he misses the chat about
meaningless stuff around the water cooler! For more
information contact the village shop on 01536 770097
or Rob on 07791 911938, email
rob.cross@thedairytrader.co.uk. |
