Cottingham Parish
Council has produced its first village Welcome Pack, which has been
specially designed for people who have just moved into Cottingham.
The 13-page pack aims
to give new residents a flavour of the village, with sections on
village history, village life and shopping in the area, along with a
whole host of useful contact numbers.
If you’re in the
completion stages of selling your house and you’d like to leave a pack
for the new occupants, call Cottingham Parish Council Chairman
Pete Bowman
on
770821
and he’ll put one together for you. Or if you know that somebody has
just moved in near you, give Pete a call and he’ll drop a pack round.
You can take a look at
the pack here.
If there’s anything else you think should go in the pack to help new
villagers get into the swing of things, drop Pete a line at
pete.bowman@cottingham.org.uk
.
As a lot of the
information is common to both of our villages, we’re currently working
with Middleton Parish Council to produce a similar Welcome Pack for
them, which we hope will be available shortly.
