More than 200 villagers came along to the
Our Village, Our Future event on 29 and 30 January to find out
more about the Parish Plan for Cottingham and to share their thoughts
and aspirations for the future.

Footpaths, pavements and walls

Maintenance of
footpaths – particularly over the Dale to Middleton

Pavement urgently
needs repair

Parish Council
needs to be putting pressure on Northants Borough Council regarding
pathway maintenance – Richard Whiteway/Colin. Our paths don’t get
repaired to the same standard as Middleton’s. Ours are cracked and
if repaired don’t get the same top finish

Condition of
pathways is terrible. Ours are not repaired to the same standard as
Middleton’s. We need to push to improve our village identity and
overall look.

Need footpath from
46 Rockingham Rd to postbox.

Path going out of
village towards Corby overgrown with brambles forcing people to walk
right next to road

Stone wall to
Middleton – those who took it should be made to put it back and pay
for it
