More than 200 villagers came along to the Our Village, Our Future event on 29 and 30 January to find out more about the Parish Plan for Cottingham and to share their thoughts and aspirations for the future.

Dog fouling/horse muck

• Dog mess – owners should clear up after their dog. Bins? Real problems down towards school - I agree! - We too!

• People to be made aware that church graveyard is not a place for your dogs to toilet!

• Horse Muck. People complain about dog much – I pick mine up but no-one complains about horse muck! It stinks and it stays in the road for months slowly getting spread along. It smells and looks horrible. Why do the owners not come back and pick it up? They say it’s good for the environment but not the road – it doesn’t decompose into the road (age: 16)
