More than 200 villagers came along to the Our Village, Our Future event on 29 and 30 January to find out more about the Parish Plan for Cottingham and to share their thoughts and aspirations for the future.

Bus services

• The bus service is good but it only travels to three towns – Market Harborough, Corby, Oakham and that’s every hour. I would like a bus to Stamford that come 4 or 5 times a day so I don’t have to travel to a town get off and wait an hour for the Stamford bus (age 16)
• Would really like just one extra bus up to Welland Valley at 7.30am to give more flexibility for the children going to Uppingham and beyond
• Bus services are very good
• Bus services very good and very reliable
