More than 200 villagers came along to the Our Village, Our Future event on 29 and 30 January to find out more about the Parish Plan for Cottingham and to share their thoughts and aspirations for the future.

Recreation ground/sports facilities

• Playing field should be kept in better condition (+1)
• We should have better facilities on the playing field
• Is there any way to reduce the amount of landlords of recreation ground? This would make things easier to use, hire, adapt for best use of whole community
• Village sports hall please
• Village sports hall please on Village Acre. Combine with Middleton?
• ….At what cost? Do we want all out greensites built on?
• Indoor/outdoor sports facilities
• Re BMX track – what about a motorcross track for us ‘old’ kids?
