More than 200 villagers came along to the Our Village, Our Future event on 29 and 30 January to find out more about the Parish Plan for Cottingham and to share their thoughts and aspirations for the future.

Crime and antisocial behaviour

• I think graffiti is the only serious crime from villagers (age: 16)
• Community support for security measures to protect our post office and village shop. Surveillance camera. Crash proof bollard.
• People ‘gobbing’ (spitting) in the street, even worse than dog muck, it’s disgusting
